Trenton Titans Hockey
TRENTON, N.J. –Small Change Marketing Group’s (SCMG) client, the Trenton Titans Hockey Team showed strong growth for a second year in a row. Significant strides were made in attendance and partnership dollars.
In 2011, SCMG was hired to revive the fledgling Trenton hockey team. While the 2011-2012 season marked a 21% Increase in attendance over the previous year representing the largest increase of any team in the 20-team ECHL, the 2012-2013 season boasted an additional increase of 10%. (See link below) Not since 2006 has the Trenton Franchise averaged over 3,360 fans per night.

SCMG Client Continues Its Trajectory Upwards as the Team Finishes Its Second Year
In addition to an increase in attendance, SCMG reports an increase in partnership sales in both cash and trade representing an 8% increase in total sales over last year. SCMG also tactically trimmed the operating deficit by 32% over the last two years.

Small Change Marketing Group Completes Project for NXTsports
Lawrenceville, NJ – Small Change Marketing Group (SCMG) is proud to announce that we have completed the launch of the NXT Partnership Division for NXT Sports, the industry leader in youth sports events and education.
As part of our work with NXT, SCMG secured ten good fit partners, including multiyear commitments, to establish a self-sustaining partnership division. In addition to launching the NXTpartnership website, SCMG identified, priced and secured partnerships for over 30 events; created an RFP and proposal system for outside vendors; and identified new revenue streams to capitalize on the widely circulated newsletter and social media presence.
As part of our deliverables, SCMG created an analytic component, Small Change Analytics ™, to measure the return on investment of partnership dollars. Small Change Marketing Group Teams Up with S7 to Launch Professional Rugby League in the US
January 2019 - Chester, PA – SCMG has signed on to oversee the business operations for the newly formed S7’s Rugby, LLC. S7’s will kick-off with the Million Dollar Scrum, where men's and women's teams in three age categories will compete in a winner take all showdown to be held in Stone Harbor, New Jersey in September.
SCMG will also help launch the S7 Professional Rugby League and will be tasked with developing and implementing various aspects of the business model including venue locations, marketing, sales, and production. With 25+ years of industry experience, SCMG will capitalize on the growth of rugby as the fastest growing sport in the U.S. and help build a model that is sustainable in the communities where the teams are located.
The Super 7’s Rugby League was created as the next step for the growth of rugby in the United States AND in response to the fast growing number of rugby athletes and the subsequent fan base bubbling up across the country who have nowhere to turn after college. The unique model of the Super 7’s includes not only developing talent in the U.S. for the U.S., but also for cultivating rugby in the targeted markets across the country for athletes, fans, sponsors, and stakeholders.
